After the man who took over Jesse’s job as the Police Chief in Paradise is killed in a car explosion, Jesse is asked to come back and help with the case. Even though Jesse didn’t like the man who replaced him, he believes in giving people a fair chance and wants to find out what really happened. When Jesse visits the scene of the explosion, he finds clues that suggest the former chief might have been involved in something shady. But Jesse doesn’t jump to conclusions. Things are tougher now, his old partners, Suitcase and Rose, left when the new chief took over, so he’s working alone. He starts to wonder if Hasty, a local figure with a questionable past, knows more than he’s saying. On top of that, Jesse realizes someone is following him, making the situation even more dangerous. As Jesse digs deeper, he must rely on his instincts to uncover the truth and bring justice to Paradise once again.

Synopsis / Plot
When the man who replaced Jesse as Paradise Police Chief was killed when his car was blown up. Jesse is asked to return and he goes to the crime scene and the evidence leads people to believe that the man may have been corrupt. And Jesse, who didn’t like him because he took his job, says that he is allowed the benefit of the doubt. Jesse finds himself alone because Suitcase and Rose left when the other Chief took over.
